ShadeScope does not collect, store, or transmit any personal
information to us or any third party.
What the app stores
- All photos and session data are stored on your device.
- The app has no cloud service and no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking.
When photos leave your device
Photos leave your device only when you choose to:
- Export and share them through the system share sheet you control; or
- Send them to a computer on your own local network. In that case the
photos are transferred directly to that computer over your local Wi-Fi and are
encrypted in transit. They are not sent to us, and nothing is sent over the internet.
We never receive your photos or any personal information, so there is nothing for us
to access, sell, or delete.
Device permissions
- Camera — used solely to capture photos within the app and to scan
the QR code shown by the computer you are sending photos to.
- Motion — used solely to display an on-screen level indicator while framing.
- Local network — used solely to send photos to a computer you choose
on your local network.
